Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

karmacycleworks on ebay please check this out.....

Has anybody heard of karmacycleworks? I tried to go to the website but it doesn't exist yet. But the name karmacycleworks is written on the frame thats selling.
Go to this link and take a look at it. It seems to be a copy of a kuota frame. Has anybody heard of em? Does this seem like a good deal? If so then it might be something I would buy in the future.

Most likely they simply buy the frames from whoever makes them from Kuota, assuming they are the same. Looks like a decent deal to me.

Saw that frame earlier while cruising E-Bay. It is rather eye worthy and more than likely Chinese made but isn't that who makes most company frames.

Lemme take a look at those frames too. But I don't think they look exactly like the ones from karmacycleworks or kuota.

What are you talking about? Sure they do.

If you notice both the kuota kredo and this karmacycleworks frame look very similar. The only difference is that in the karma's seat tube there is a little bit of an aero design like you would find on a trek racer or on other racers.
Other than that they look very similar.

Ugly? I think its cool looking. Though some people either hate or love the kuota frames. And cause of the similarity I guess some people wouldn't like this karma frame either. I like em both.
Now if only I can find a company that would do a cheap copy of a LOOK 486.

look at the chain and seat stays, and the front of the triangle, and the head tube. they look similar, but wellgo pedals also look like Looks, and a fiero sort of sounds like ferrari. Sure they look a little similar, but there is likely a world of difference.

Those are not the same frame at all, there really isn't any similarity to them.

Its Ebay, the worlds biggest outlet store. More than likely someone tried to start an internet bike store and ordered some bikes to sell, but went out of business and this guy is liquidating their inventory.

Oh come now there is SOME similarity...right? Ok, the karma frame seems to be a mix of some other well known company frame's designs. Perhaps not just the kuota but traits from other frames.
In any case wellgo might have pedals that look like LOOKS but I was referring to the LOOK 486 carbon frame.
Does anybody do a cheap version of this baby?

Thats an interesting theory that just might turn out to be true. Then are there any other companies that sell carbon frames cheap the same was as karmacycles did or pedal force does?

Well MOST frames have some similarity. The GMC Denali has a very similar frame to both of those to a casual observer.

I agree. $1100 is too much for a generic frame. At least you know what you are getting from Pedal Force.

Well in case my specialized roubaix frame ever fails and I can't get a warranty replacement its good to know I have cheap but good alternatives. Is there any others besides pedalforce I can take a look at? I went to pedal force's site and the new site doesn't really have any info on color or detail options for their frames.
The theory about the karmacycleworks frames being a sell off of old inventory may be true. In that case I guess they wouldn't be an option for a future purchase.

You should send a message and ask if there is a site. Maybe he reserved the domain name and doesn't have a site yet.

The frame sure looks nice though. Buy it and let us know what you think. Better your money than mine. LOL

Funny you should mention that because I did last night. Just this second as I am writing this post, I had just finished reading an email from the company owner. these are his words.......

Karmacycleworks is a new bicycle company. Previosly we were called Bicycle Lab bicyclelab.com.
These frames are made in Taiwan in a factory that makes frames for several top european and US carbon fiber companys.
Thanks
I went to the owner's website and wrote back telling him that his bicyclelab carbon frame pricing was pretty expensive and will there be more choices on his new karmacycleworks site. I also asked to respond when his new site is up.
Hopefully that will be soon so we can take a better look at what he is offering.

These have been getting good reviews. Prices aren't too bad. https://www.leopardcycles.com/

If you want cheaper, try the Scat frames sold by Supergo (now Performance) or the Motobecane frames.
