Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Good Training Ride or Not?

This is my weekly training ride and I was curious iif this would be considered a difficult training ride. It come in right around 37.5 miles and it normal takes me somewhere around two hours to complete.

I guess that sounds like a tough ride, but it's really hard to say by looking at a 6mi snapshot of it and simply looking at your average speed. Besides, what's tough for me is easy for other guys, it just depends on the individual.

IMO - it's not always the course you're riding on, but what you do on it + the weather conditions, that mean something

I have fixed the chart, but cannot post a pic becuase I am on a work computer which will not allow me to do that. Just have to download file, it is virus free.

I agree. Almost any route (without too much traffic) can be a good training ride. You just need to adjust your intensity level based on your goals for the day.
