Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

forks, headsets, etc......

i find the whole fork and headset thing to be a tad confusing, in particular, integrated and non-integrated. i am getting a new frame that states "Head tube for 1-1/8” Campagnolo compatible integrated headset." will this fork work? can someone do a brief run down of the differences?

Allez................if you are getting a Pedal Force frame I am pretty sure this fork will work. In fact I did a internet search of that fork and it states it is integrated so by that it would work with an integrated head tube.

In fact they (Pedal Force) offers the Reynolds Ouzo Pro as a fork option. Your asking about the Lite fork but other than weight should be identical.

Allez, the only thing yo will really need to worry about is the headset. The Campagnolo hiddenset is slightly different than the Cane Creek Integrated headset.

Here is the answer in more technical terms (from the FSA website):
While there are many standards out there, the three most widely accepted are the Cane Creek, the Campagnolo, and the TH standard. All three use angular contact bearings (ACB) which we find to be best suited to handle the loads a headset is subjected to. Each bearing uses its own proprietary ACB standard and are of different dimensions. The bearings are not cross compatible. Cane Creek Standard integrated headsets use a 35°x45° angular contact bearing (blue seal), Campagnolo a 45°x45° ACB (yellow seal), and TH a 36°x36° bearing (red seal).
