Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

garmin 305 Miles

Does anyone know how to change ft to miles or does it do that once you have traveled 1 mile?

I have been going through everything but cannot seem to find it.

I see MPH and Average spped. I just do not see total miles traveled.

Please help the IT challenged biker

You've ridden more than 1 mile on it right?

It should go to miles after that point...

what about keeping a total distance. IE a collective total of all of your miles....not just each ride.

The typical odometer is not a displayable field, you need to go to settings>history to see the total miles.

It will keep a total if you do not delete your history of rides. If you use MB it will keep the total as well as long as you upload your rides. I use the TC to keep a tally as well. Read the manual. I know we all hate to do that but it does work. Your feet to miles........you have to ride first and get that 1st mile in to do that. Good luck and have fun with the Edge, I love mine!
