fulcrum race 5 vs. open pro ultegra
I'm a recreationsl rider looking to upgrade my entry level bike with a new wheelset. Performance has the open pro for 209.00 until 7/1 and sunrise cyclery has fulcrum racing 5 for 199.00 until 7/4. Any suggestions or opinions besides have a top wheelman put them together for 350.00. Ona budget.
Thanks

I have 2 sets of the Open Pro's from Performance and I like them but I took them to my LBS for a trueing and both sets needed some work. For a budget they are decent and fairly light. No comment on the Fulcrums.

Does build quality of a factory build (Fulcrum) offer any advantage over the build of Performance. Also, after a wheel is retrued (?), does that solve all remaining problems re: build?

By the way what are the advantages/disadvantages of sealed or loose bearings?
