SRAM road grouppo?? pros and cons? anyone tried it?
has anyone tried out the new SRAM road components? do you know of any pros and cons with it?
how is it different to shimano? is shimano better than it?
let's voice our opinions so we can find the best road grouppo in the market.
by the way, im talking about racing componentry so like dura-ace vs. force.

Ultegra and Rival are racing componentry as well. And the best gruppo is individual. Everyone has his/her own preferences.

I like Shimano Ultegra. Because I haven't tried the others. That said, I like the looks and functionality, so I have no need to change it out.

A local shop here has a Bianchi San Lorenzo rebuilt with the SRAM group. The real difference, is of course, the brifters. I tried 'em and found them to be pretty much a hybrid of Campy and Shimano. Nice enough, but I didn't get all excited either. It's just another way of doing business on the bike.

I've seen the Force gruppo and had it explained to me by a SRAM tech, but haven't used em. SRAM's stuff looks absolutely killer for sprinting, as the shift mechanism can be pressed to the bar for easy shifting during an all out effort.
