well now remember the wally world schwinn?
Ok in A&S forum a poster recently posted about her hit from behind accident and she happened to be on that 200 dolar schwinn varcity thats been posted about recently. The bike is flat out under the car that hit her. "rear wheel has a crack from where her fender hit my wheel" but apperantly other wise the bike seems to be un damaged. I would say that when some new future forum junky asks about very cheap new entry level road bikes this one might just be worth recomending. Any bike that can get slammed to the ground like that and not show visable damage regardless of where it was bought is a worth while bike imo. Big deal if its other parts are verybasic and likly to fail from use after a season or 2. All that stuff can be replaced.
For those of us that are more in to it na the schwinn probably isnt worth our time or money but the new roadie looking for a bike to try out road cycling this bike might just fit the bill nicly.
Maybe the owner will post aabout the bike when shes less sore from her crash possibly with some pics. Good news is that car that hit her looks like its totaled. Got to love it 200 dollar walmart bike kills car
