Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Quick question about seatposts. Need specs!

Hey guys and gals. I currently run a Ritchey WCS seatpost on my rig and cannot find any figures on what the measurement for the setback is. Right now I run my saddle pretty far back on the rails. I want to get a Thompson setback post. My question is that is the setback similiar to the Ritchey in measurement? If it is way off I do not know if the Thompson will work. Let me know.

I'd gestimate it's about a 20mm setback. I have the same post and compared it to the Bontrager Race X Lite 20mm and it was about the same.

The Thomson setback is far less than the Ritchey.
