I'm not sure what color "chalk" might be, but you can buy it here.

Thanks guys, I like the Aliante as well
Thanks Blandin, I think Chalk is white, and I have found it else where on line as well, however it's one of those items I need to order something else to make it worth while for the shipping...etc Maybe 3-4 rolls of the stuff??? Yeah, that's it, 3-4 rolls

Holy friggin' drool fest.
13 years ago, when I was a poor boy high school kid doing my USCF junior races on my trusty little Fiorelli with scrapped-together Shimano 105, I used to dream about Campy C-Record and Colnagos like yours. While all of the other kids in high school were scrawling rock band logos and "sport" team logos (baseball, football, and other mindless games that all of the jockos were into), I was busy tediously sketching C-Record componentry and Italian bike logos like Campy, Colnago, Rossin, Cinelli, etc, in my notebooks in places where math equations and years of historical battles were supposed to go.
Granted, my racing career lasted only a few years with minimal success and ended when I went to college, but my love for the sport and passion for machines like your Colnago never died, and never will. More so, I'm glad that even though my current bike is an aluminum and carbon cyclocross beast, and my next bike will be a carbon techno-wonder, I'll always retain my appreciation for handcrafted chrome lugs, Italian paint jobs, the old-world stlye of Campy Nouvo and Super Record, and the mouth-watering swoopy, melted, curvy, and aero-smooth stylings of Campy C-Record, the most beautiful components ever created for the bicycle.
One of my finer cycling memories from back in the days: A whole hour spent at a pro bike shop in Brooklyn poring over every detail of a majestic Colnago Master America circa 1987 with jewel-like fully pantographed C-record.
Absolutely beautiful build you have there. Good luck with it and please keep posting those wonderful pictures.
BTW, have been able to find more C-Record parts with Colnago pantographing?

Thanks for sharing those thoughts Jpearl! I'm like you in that I really dig the most modern technological bikes available, however I also love the classic stuff with a bit of heritage, history or even a story behind it. Primarraly 80's C Record equipped Colnagos, Rosins, DeRosas, Guercotti's, Pinarellos & Cinelli. I too believe C-Record was the most beautifully sculpted group ever made for a bicycle, and the fact that it's time coincided with my early love affair with bicycles makes it the most sought after period for myself.
I can almost feel what it would have been like to be in the Brooklyn shop poring over that Master America. In fact that story has me in the same shop with you
I have not seen many Colnago Pantographed C-Record parts. I suspect they are more a rarity, rather than the rule as was the Colnago (or many other Italian builders) Pantographed Super Record components.
I have access to a CNC milling machine and have often thought of doing my own Pantographing, but then it would just be my own story, and not have a really history behind it or be time honored.

i like them both as well, but if it were my choice i would go with the regal. to me, it just seems more fitting to the bike.
both are beautiful on the bike though.
i can't get enough of that bike. soooooooooooo beautiful, in the way a classic ferrari would be considered beautiful (this complement coming from a confessed car enthusiast, so it really means somthing)

Thanks Goldfish, we're totally on the same page... So many times I think and envision this build much as if it is a vintage Ferrari. The fact that Colnago and Ferrari have a long history together only fuels that
Oddly enough, the color combo of the Italian Job always reminds me of a black Lamborghini Countach with a white leather interior I seen in a car magazine once
