How do YOU pronounce "SRAM?"

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wasn't aware there was any confusion about the pronunciation of SRAM. Learn something new everyday.

I watched a video on their website and they pronounced it as rhyming with Sam. I pronounce it S-Ram and will continue to do so even on the day I can finally afford their double-tap group.

Yea, I guess us yokles got it all wrong

I admit it. I've always read it as, ess-ram.

Which brings up a similar thing... is DRAM, "dee-ram' or 'dram' (rhymes w/ tram). I always said dee-ram.

I always pronounced Ksyrium with the K as a sort of click at the beginning like many west-African languages have. So k'-see-ree-um...

And Giro is pronounced with the same 'G' as in 'giant' -- just looked it up on the OED -- even though I'd always thought it was a hard G.
