Right now I'm out, but there's a chance I could go if I could get a ride BACK to Portland? Anyone heading back to Portland after the ride?

Don't be a wuss, after the ride just merge that rocket ship on to I-5 and signal to get in the passing lane. You will be in Portland before you know it

Sore saddle cyclist
I'll be in Chicago this weekend, have fun, it's a beautiful ride. BTW, I arranged for mechanical support at the halfway stop this year, just in case it's needed.
