Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This has been posted already. As stated by someone earlier, the entire thing is real except for the cyclist who was added in, and the leading cop car which was the suspect being chased (they added lights to the car to make it look like a cop car).

When I read the title of the thread, I thought you were talking about cops on bikes. Around here they all tend to be on the heavy side and ride mountain bikes. It's almost like cops are selected for bike patrol as a punishment/fitness program, at least around here. Get too big on the donuts and you're pedaling.

I highly doubt it is authentic. No one can ride that fast I would think on flat ground assuming it's flat. I think it was PC generated as stated by someone earlier.

at the end it says it's by specialized. It's pretty obviously fake, yet entertaining. I mean, it LOOKS fake, and aside from that, it's not possible to out run a car while on a bike, even if you're all EOP'd out!

It was a Specialized commercial. He speeds up about 15 mph in a second there at the end without even standing up.
