Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I visited the owner and they were so nice. I road tested the bike and everything was perfect except for the 120mm stem. They are willing to swap a 100mm stem on that + probly give me a low end speedo. They are giving it to me with a buy it now price of 800$. What do you guys think?

by the way, the reason i'm having 2nd thoughts about this bike is because the CF frame is 1993, more than 10 years old... does that weaken the frame? and i don't need a high end bike, an alum would be fine for me. + the brakes are single pivot, it was kinda weak when i tested it. but other than that... the bike is near perfect.

One day if I wake up out of my mind and buy it from them, I'll be askin for an extra tube, tire lever, bottle cage and bottle just to get things going.

Sweeet! A little knick on the back of the seat tube/stay? Nothing a little speck of touch-up paint won't cure.
I think she's worth about 800

13 year old carbon sounds like a dumb investment to me. These frames wont last forever, although you may get a few years out of it. Price isn't fantastic.
