Fuji Royale II bike
Hi,
I am new to the whole road bike thing. I am actually going to buy a used fuji royale 2 bike for 69 dollars. The main purpose is for commuting back and forth from school. I have asked the person about the bike and she said it was in good condition and was not used because she is to short for the bike. I am 5"8, she is 5"2, and the guy whom she bought it from was 5"6. So i figured it would be a perfect fit.
I have till wednesday to decide on whether or not i should get the bike. Was wondering if anyone out there knows anything about road bikes, road bike suggestions before buying a used one, or even better...does anyone know or own a Fuji Royale 2 bike.
The person whom i am buying it from says there isnt any physical problems with it. Just cosmetic rust. Wheels are fine. From what i can see, the rubber that hols the brakes and the handle bar came off. The middle of the foot peddle is rusty. It's kind of hard to see any detail and she doesn't offer much, but if it rides well and is in good working order, I'd probably bring 69 bucks with me and offer her 50.
