Pas de cateaux
You might remember Armstrong's quote when winning the Tour a few years ago - pas de cadeaux (no gifts). Can anyone verify for me that it is correct. That is, should it be pas des cadeaux ?

Ad this means no gifts? IS that right. If thats what it means, what was Lance's meaning. Like, no gifts please. or there are no gifts in the tour, you win Yellow Jersey. Clearly I am confused.

Yes, it literally means "no gifts" in French. Lance meant "Never again am I just holding on to the yellow jersey and letting the other guy win a stage". Pas de cadeaux!!!
