Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Branford Bike is gone

I can't find a thread, so am starting this one ...

Branford was lost to wildfires in Montana at the end of July. Business, stock, house, everything. They are not going to reopen the business.

I thought they were one of the best for info, help, and obscure parts. I, for one, will miss them.

Yeah, it was posted a long time ago now. But a sad story to hear nonetheless...

If you are a reader of CampyOnly you would have seen Tim's actual diary and photos of the encroaching fire.

I hope the folks at Branford find a way to stay involved in cycling. If anyone knows what their plans are, perhaps they will psst an update.
