Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

is this a good deal for a used CAAD 7 Optimo?

I've been thinking about a buying a new frame, new or used, for a while, something that is more suited for climbing, and i ran accross a 2004 Cannondale CAAD 7 Optimo frame (the Team Saeco version) with carbon fork for $679 on ebay. I was wondering if someone here could address a couple of questions;

-Is this a good price for the frame? I've spent plenty of time on google trying to compare, but its hard to tell exactly what something like this should go for.

-I've read that the tubing on this frame is incredibly thin in places, which makes it easy to dent ect. Is this something to worry about considering its a 2004 and has been raced, i want to make sure the frame will last for a significant amount of time before i put the money into it.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

I don't think it is.
