Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Edge 305 users..need a little help

I didn't realize it, but I had my 305 set to record data points every second. I rode about 1.5 hours tonight and when I uploaded to Motionbased it says I have too many data points! This was a PR ride for me and I really want this data uploaded to MB. Supposedly has 5714 data points and MB will only accept 5000 for now.

Any ideas?

You need to use smart recording. Go to main menu, select settings -- data recording, in the record data points fields select smart recording, press exit. This is on page 62 of the manual.

Yes, I realize that and have corrected that already. Thanks...I need to know if there is an easy way to trim out some of the data points.
