Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You might want to consider reposting this in a different forum that is [1] meant for motorcycles and [2] meant for for-sales. It'll probably ellicit more favourable responses.

I can certainly see why you're selling it. Some people just shouldn't own objects this dangerous.

I'll Take it...
i am willing to pay you £2,995 for the bike if that is okay by you, apparently i have a friend in the UK who is indebted to me and intends to pay me the sum of £8,995
This is about the easiest way I can get your funds to you now.cos if send a check from over here it would take about 30 days to clear whereas a check sent from within the UK would clear within 1-2 days.

i would appreciate if i could trust you to take care of this funds
for me , so that once you receive payment, you would deduct the money for the bike and i would instruct a shipper to come pick up the bike at your location, then the remaining would be sent to me either thru wire transfer or western union ( preferably).
i would appreciate you enter into this contract agreement in good
faith and trust with me and would appreciate your understanding
because it is not easy this days to trust people.

if the contract agreement is sealed, i would appreciate you send me your name and address where the check would be delivered and also your contact number so that i can communicate with my friend to arrange the funds.
