Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nice! Are we going to see more pictures, perhaps in front of a white garage door?

man I test rode this bike on Saturday and I fell in love with it. It was my first ride on a carbon frame. I also tested the Orbea Orca but liked it even more.

What components did you get? I'm assuming you got Ultegra or did you upgrade? How much did you get it for?

I replaced that @ss hatchet of a seat with a Specialized Avatar. Best thing I ever did.

Nice bike....I really like that paint scheme....only one I like better is mine , which isn't painted; nude carbon....no paint on the frame at all, just clearcoat over the carbon.

You should really flip it....in addition to looking much better, I also found it to be much more comfortable. Throw a nice Specialized Toupe seat on there, and maybe get some waterbottle cages that'll actually hold the bottles in when you hit a giant bump in the road at 30+ mph, and you'll be good to go.

Show me some alternative saddles...! My requirements are that it must be somewhat comfortable, not look gay, and must be very OCP...!

Very nice. I just bought the exact same bike about 2 months ago (and have already put more than a thousand miles on it) from a guy off of Craigs List who had it a couple months and then decided he was more of a mountain biker. Trek 2006 Madone 5.2, including a cycle computer, front and back lights, new saddle, and Nike OCLV Carbon clip shoes (that fit!). The whole package, delivered to my house, for $2,000. I love a good deal. I had my LBS do a diagnostic on it before purchase, and the guy said I was getting a rare bargain because the bike had obviously been well taken care of.
