Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

most blinged out black wheels

I was wondering if any OCP members might be able to help recommend a set of wheels to match my mostly black bike.

they have to be black like the spinergy SS carbon and black spokes are preferred.

I've seen the spinergies for as low as $600 a set. thanks in advance oh wise ones.

I am pretty close to pulling the trigger on a set of black Campy Zondas for my mostly black bike. I was shopping mostly on function, but am not ashamed to admit that aesthetics were a significant factor as well. Very sexy wheels, imo.

thanks vance

wow vancemac, thanks for that tip, what's the best price you've found on them so far? I see them for $489 but out of stock from at least one e-tailer so far.

AC wheels come in black, are very light(a bonus for ocp points) and shimano comp.

nothing says overkill like mag tubulars on the sunday club ride

Lightweight Ventoux.

Is $5500 too much to ask for real bling? I think not.

Besides, if you destroy them, you'll get 30% off your next set.

I don't know, those rims look like Dunkin Donuts, or inflated inner tubes used for toboggans to me...
