I know how - he rides - a lot.
Your question is way too broad, and even if you knew the answer, everyone's different and training like an immensely talented powerhouse like him is NOT the thing to do. Assess what you need to work on and train on those. But get in plenty of base mileage first, at least 500 miles or so, of very easy riding.
