Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What a rush!!!

Riding over the golden gate bridge as the Blue Angels flew over. I was so pumped, I flew up the Marin headlands and got to the top in time to watch them finish their last maneuvers over SF Bay. Anyone have a better ride than that this weekend?

I introduced my wife to her first 25 mile ride. She was sticking to 2-5 mile rides in town. This Sunday we went to the next town over. She enjoyed it.

My wife and I bicycled all around our fair city on a Solar Home Tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and saw some amazing Sustainable Energy solutions.

No Blue Angels in route though. However, I've seen them in the past, and they're quite impressive.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I did have a great ride this weekend.
The Tigers crushed the Yankees.
And I rode under the coolest fall colors imagineable.

The only thing that could have made it better would have been a low-level fly-over by the Air Force Thunderbirds.

I watched my kids play soccer all weekend and didn't get to ride at all, but it was still a great weekend. Go Tigers!

I got into (and won) a race out on an unfamilar trail in the city I am TDY in. I also watched Season 2 of Lost on DVD in my hotel room while on the trainer.

Your ride is hard to beat! I was on the beach at Crissy Field watching them. Should have thought about riding onto the GG Bridge. I expect the view from the headlands was spectacular!!!

Yeah, I rode up Conzelman rd. on Saturday. I was glad I was on my bike, the car traffic was unreal. What a beautiful day for a ride, too bad those airplanes were making all that racket.

women riding bikes. When they saw me they stripped off all their clothes and said "go ahead, take what you want"

So, I took the bikes.

(good choice as the clothes wouldn't have fit, eh?)

Shouldn't that be...

Dear Penthouse Forum: I never thought this would happen to me but there I was riding my bike Saturday afternoon when I came upon the three hottest...

And for you rat-bastard Detroit fans, I'd say something about how the sun was in the Yankees' eyes... and we really didn't want to win this year, and all that but the truth is, the Tigers out played us hands down and they deserve the credit.

I rode 30 on sunday right after a huge desert storm and witnessed 2 simulatneous rainbows, the smell of wet creosote and saw some coyotes and javalina's. I never loved Tucson this much until I started riding..
