Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Frame for a beginner bike builder??

Greetings,

Do you think this is a OK frame to build the first bike with:

https://cgi.ebay.com/Felt-F80-Road-Bi...QQcmdZViewItem

ebay item #: 140036174842

I am very advanced as a mechanic - driving 20 years old Jeep CJ7 kinda makes you that way - and I am pretty sure building a bike is easier than swapping an engine or rebuilding a transmission

I know the correct question to ask would be:

is it an OK frame for ..... but as of now I am just looking for satisfying bike building project for the winter.

Any suqqestions apreciated

Thanks

Looks like a good deal. I was trying to figure out why they refer to it as a triathlon hybrid. Do you know what the seat tube angle is?

It's a good frame and the price is right. The geometry is definitely road specific though, so the "triathlon hybrid" is pure fabrication beyond the fact that any road bike with clip on aero bars can be called "triathlon hybrid."

And I even like the color.
