ok Here is a link to the bike im looking at, im a newbie to road cycling so im looking for the cheapest bike I can find just to see how into it I am before I invest 900+. tell me what you think.

Looks like it's Sora equipped, for that price, you certainly won't get much better if you go new. They don't supply many or any other details about the bike however so it's hard to gauge any other aspects of the bike.

Why not buy used on Ebay? That really does look like a rebadged, slightly upgraded GMC Denali.

If you're not mechanically challenged, I would suggest the used bike route.
For $400 you could get a good steel frame 80's bike.
