Clothing question
O.k., I'm a newbie to the road. (been mtn biking for years).
What do you all wear. I'm in the NYC area..the weather at the hours i'm riding..is probably in the low 50's. At those temps when riding in the woods, I'd have on a pair of shorts, (with knee/shin pads) a 2 long sleeve base layer shirts on top. When I took a rode ride saturday, I put on a pair of tights over the shorts, (left the knee pads at home) and was a bit chilly with the wind. Any suggestions. Specific jerseys and/or links would be appreciated so I could do some comparisons of materials/weights. Thanks.

you'll want lycra shorts or knickers with a chamois (padding)
and a long sleeve jersey with a base layer, for the base layer use craft www.craft-usa.com
for the knickers get some castelli they're good and not too overpriced and for the long sleeve jersey get what fits you, but craft is a good cold weather product
