PF QS2s ride report *comparison*
With all the excitement surrounding the group buy(still working on my wife...), I thought it would be helpful for "s" owners to share more detailed ride reports...especially comparing them to other frames they have ridden to give perspective.
i.e. stiffer than my tcr composite or more comfortable than my old caad _ cdale or.....
I don't know about ya'll, but descriptions like "great transfer" and "buttery smooth" are so subjective.
So, anyone want to weigh in on their PF ride?

My only concern is with bike fit....I ride a 54cm Trek, and the dimensions of that are pretty much perfect for my body. I'm wondering how the PF frame will compare.

We are doing a soft launch in limited quantity (not on the web yet till
next year when it is officially launched) for the frame that you are
referring to called QS2-S.
QS2-S is very similar to the QS2 but has the following differences:
1) Uses higher grade Toray M30S carbon fiber. The QS2 uses Toray T700
carbon fiber.
2) Slightly heavier than the QS2 (by about 50 g) but slightly stiffer
[15% at the bottom bracket, 10% stiffer at the head tube and 25% stiffer
chainstays (lateral)]. Normally, you won't feel the extra stiffness in
the QS2-S because the QS2 itself is already plenty stiff. The QS2 is
actually a very stiff frame and ideally suited for racing. Although the
QS2-S is stiffer than the QS2, only pro-level or very powerful cyclists
will perceive the added advantage. The QS2 has the advantages of a
slightly lighter weight and a more forgiving ride.
3) The QS2-S has almost the same geometry as the QS2.
QS2-S is priced at $800.

I have the ZX3. It is a very nice frame, but I honestly wish I had a QS2-S now. It is a 58cm, and when I'm dancing out of the saddle on a long climb, it's not quite as stiff as my TST ovalized Ti frame. I wish it was a smidgen stiffer in the BB area. I don't know how the ZX3 compares to the QS2-S, but I'm assuming they made the QS-2S stiffer for racing, as it is apparently a newer, lighter, and more advanced cf design.

Dunno if this helps, but it seems like the QS2-S uses M30S carbon...which is the same used in the Orbea Opal. Seems like a lot of people say that the Opal is a great ride and doesn't beat them up because of the stiffness.
