Fixer-uppers on craigslist...advice?He
Hey all, I'm looking to get a solid road bike for cheap, and I'm willing to put some work into it...take a peek here and let me know what you all think!

Try the Classic/Vintage section to get some opinions on the bikes that you have posted. What is your budget? I'd say that the bikes in those ads are going to need a fair bit of work and they will not ride anything close to a modern roadie.
This one might be better: https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/223914160.html

This frame sounds fine: https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/222918506.html
What about this one? :https://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/bik/222069450.html

The Peugeot looks complete and probably just needs to be stripped, cleaned, and reassembled. The Raliegh is a lower end model, and is either 1020 or 4030 Cro-Mo steel (can't remember offhand). It will ride comfortably if completed, but I'd stip it for parts and sell the frame to a fixie enthusiast.
The Dawes might be the real sleeper here. It is likely 531 steel and a very nice ride. Needs a lot of work, but might be worth the effort - I know I'd like to get my hands on it.....
Bottom line - you can make a decent bike out of that pile, and sell off the rest for a profit if you're handy.
