Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Anyone with a 54cm Trek, what's the standard crank length? Thanks.

I'm looking for a 54cm '80s Trek 770 crit bike if anyone has one, or a frameset. Super-tight geometry, tyres larger than 23c would rub the seat-tube, sub-38" wheelbase, that thing was made for cornering! Didn't have money at the time to buy one, but would love to have one now..

... and it had 170mm cranks I think. I'm running 175mm on my 54cm Specialized Allez Epic right now.
