Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thank you

To the rider riding next to me on 11/26 going South on Ocean Ave. in Brooklyn, thank you for calmly explaining to the ass**le that ran the light almost hitting me what he did. I would have just smashed his window and yelled at him.

Thank you for explaining it to him in a civil manner and confirming I was ok before going your own way.

To the rider in Prospect Park riding the blue Land Shark who felt the need to blow a snot rocket immediately after passing me, don't be such an ass.

you shoud try writing a note, and putting it in a bottle.

most likely you'll have a better chance of getting your messages to their intended parties.

I did a Google Image search for Botto and came up with this:

those snot rockets can be nasty in the fall\winter. i remember seeing one guy (not me this time) try to blow one and all the snot dripped down and got all over his face and the front of his jersey. it was hanging down and he was trying to break it free by swatting at it. just nasty.

Botto:

Lot's of people here ride in that park and perhaps somone he knows or the person himself will read this and realize that his efforts on my behalf are appreciated. Perhaps he will never see this. Either way, I thought the right thing to do is to post a thank you.

Your comparison to the bottle other than not being helpful, is wrong. If bottles put in the ocean were found by cyclists known to ride in the same location as the intended recepient, then perhaps it would be comparable. I have nothing against you, I don't know you. I will however reply with something my mother taught me when I was young that might help you. "If you have nothing nice to say, perhaps you should say nothing at all".

Good luck to you sir.

Poor Botto...I used to think this too. Guess what - I posted something here twice not knowing if it would make it to it's intended recipients. In both cases, yes it did. In one case I didn't want it to.

We'll forgive and forget this time.

DrPete, it must really taste good for you to follow around all day like a lil puppy and keep taking hits. I hope your using good lube.

Botto, I know you can do better than that. Homework returned until your work is back up to standard.
