Where do you all shop and why? I'm in the Ann Arbor area and looking for information on the bike shops there.

Wheels in Motion on Washtenaw Ave. I think they used to be called Washtenaw Cycle. I usually get a bad attitude when I go to Two Wheel Tango and they have messed up a few repairs on mine and friends bikes. What is strange is that so many riders I know go there despite there own complaints.
I've been going to Wheels in Motion for a few years, I won't go anywhere else in town.

There's a nice little shop in Saline called Cadence Cycling. They've only been open about a year and cater primarily to the triathlete and road crowd. It's not a mom-and-pop type bike shop however, so if that's the type of service you need or want you probably should go somewhere else. They also carry their own brand of bike components that they sell world wide on the web. Not sure about the components as far as reliability, cost, or other technical data, but the guys at the shop are dedicated cyclists and will fit you to a bike competently. Check 'em out. They're on Michigan Avenue in downtown Saline.

Use to live in Dexter. GO TO DEXTER BIKE AND SPORT and say hello to Jeff and his charming wife. Excellent selection of high quality bikes. Litespeed, Colnogo, Scott, etc. 9 miles west of AA.

I've had good experiences at Two Wheel Tango and at Dexter Bike & Sport. Dennis and Roger at TWT were great with fitting my bike and helping with my shoes. Denise and Jeff at Dexter are great and very friendly. Both shops have great bikes, cloths and equipment. For me, I really like Adidas Adistar bibs and shorts and they both carry them.
