Although botto has by far the nicest nails on the forum and seems willing to let you use them to remove your decals, a blow dryer or heat gun may make the job easier. If the decals are under clearcoat, I would recommend a bead blaster.

providing they are not under clearcoat, a steamer is about as good as it gets. It supplies heat and moisture that seem to really help get stickers off and not leave any residue. Goo gone will take care of the residue if there is any.
I have no idea how to deal with clearcoat covered stickers.

I just removed a dealer sticker from my Giant with a blow dryer...took about 3 minutes worked perfectly.
