B'Twin FC700 frame (AG2R Tour bike)

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

B'Twin FC700 frame (AG2R Tour bike)

Interesting frame/bike from Decathalon. $3150 (converted from Euro's) puts you on their TDF bike. Very industrial, blocky styling, fork from Time, and a weight of 1.07kg.

Anybody know more? Seen any tests?

Found a few bits of info in other languages, but nothing substantial.

I might have to head downstairs and try it on mine. Sounds like standard ride with backbeats on the snare.

have seen them at a Dacathalon shop. Didn't really do much for me, no clue as to how they ride.

Yep, with lots of ghosting on the snare...but then the tambourine comes in, and adding that in without dropping one of the other components is a pain, til you get it. Fairly typical ambient/d&b/acid kind of thing, sounding simple, but with lots of layered parts that really require 3 limbs to do.

Nice looking frame. I'll probably never see one in person, since Decathlon is pulling out of the US. Got some nice buys at their going out of business sale, however.
