Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Is my new ride OCP or ???

Picked this blue beauty up about a month ago and I only get to keep her for about another month or so but while she's mine I need to get her into shape. Some of the guys at work have helped me get started but I need the opinion of some real OCP'ers. I know I don't have a white garage door, wheels aren't aligned, seats too low, bars to high, and it has a basket but beyond that what do I need to do?

Yep, one more month and I can trade this in for my real bikes. Thank God I opted to have my foot fixed in the winter. The weather has been crappy enough I haven't missed not being able to ride too much.

Something about that basket just doesn't look quite bike-ish.

What, no rear-view mirrors? What's your top speed? Presta or schrader valves in the tires? Any plans on upgrading to disc brakes?

That's hilarious - get better soon!

+1 You could definitely get some stickers on the rim of the wheels. They are discs, but I dont see any dimples. Are those wheels 2005 or earlier?
