New Italian pro cyclist name....
So I'm down in the cycling room today sweating through 13 miles while watching a tape (yes, tape) of one of the climbing stages of the 2005 TdF.
It dawns on me....
In my fantasy world of being a pro bike racer in Europe, I need a solid name. They all have cool sounding names. Since I'm already pretty much there already with my Italian heritage, I didn't have far to go.
Now, when in my fantasy role of pro racer, Phil Cianciola changes to the actual Italian pronounciation of the name to "Phillipo Chincolo" (phil-EE-po chin-CHO-low)
I can almost hear Liggett with the call...
"Look at this....it appears Phillipo Chincolo, the talented Italian, has found a spot of bother on this climb, now being spit off the back in around-about a bike length a second."

what's wrong with Chi-an-CHI-oL-a?
btw - you really have to stop thinking in miles, and start thinking in time. especially when you're on rollers/trainer.

You need to ride more than 13 miles during base season to get on the Pro Tour

This is my first week back, so nothing too major in terms of effort after the holidays.
It's tough for me to break an hour on the darned thing, but I know that's where I need to be as spring gets closer.

Your body doesn't know how far you're going....only how long and how hard.

My doping name would be Brock Cleanersterstonson.
How to choose your porn star name:
Take the name of your first pet as your first name, the street name of the first house you lived in as your last name.

You need a better first name too, something that sounds as tough as you are, like Guido.
