Newbie- What size frame?
Hi there, I've always been into mnt biking but now I want to get into triathlons by this summer and I need a road bike. I see some on eBay and craigslist but I'm not sure what size bike I need.
I'm 6'4" and about 220lbs.
Thanks in advance!
-Jeff

Its not so much your overall height but your inseam that is applied the frame size. Best bet will always be to go to the LBS and have them size you up.

Go to a bike shop and test ride some bikes. You will probably need the large frame like 60 to 62cm range. Bike manufacturers measure their frames differently so your best bet is to figure out what brand you like then go ride them to decide what size you need. Good luck!

You'll need to give more measurements before anyone can guess at a size for you
