Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Runs pretty true to size. Craft base layers are A++.

The older Craft stuff is Euro fit. The newer stuff is more USA fit. I weigh 160 pounds and wear a size medium in the older stuff, but a size small in the newer stuff. Definitely try it on first if you have any doubt about sizing. Base layers need to fit snuggly to work properly and Craft does not stretch as much as some other brands.

its not just clothes...........a couple months ago they shifted the coffee sizes up here in toronto. what used to be a large is now a medium. the xl is a small bucket. the world is getting bigger.....blame obesity if you like, or dick pound.

I believe a size M in the Pro Dri corresponds to about a 38-39 chest size, so I believe it's a "Botto medium" rather than an "Fat Ugly American medium". I'm 6'0" and about 162 pounds. I wouldn't want the M to be any tighter. As it is now, it fits me perfectly.

Ditto. The medium fits me great at a pretty skinny 155.

Fabulous stuff BTW. The WS Pro stuff is the cat's pajamas for warmth and wicking.

I think if you are very lean framed like I am (6' 157lbs) you can still go with the normal size. I order a pro-cool tank, pro dri long sleeve, and pro dri short sleeve from performance all in sz M. I returned the pro cool as it was loose fitting whereas my two pro-dri baselayers are very form fitting. Their pro warm and pro dri baselayers are second to none IMO (demarchi is a close second). On the other hand I prefer some other brands for their warm weather apparel (specialized makes an awesome summer baselayer).

think of it as a zimbo 'after' medium, as opposed to a zimbo 'before' medium.

Well I guess thats because "husky" (that's what we called the fat kids when I was little) people just sweat more I find the wicking properties of Craft products to be quite sufficient.

I wear a large Gore Wind Stopper and find that it's sizing is like that of American jerseys. I also would like to say that it's the BOMB. Totally worth the price.
