I clearly paid too much for my F4:13 (AKA scam alert)

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

https://cgi.ebay.com/Pinarello-f413-c...QQcmdZViewItem

Current bid is 9 bucks, and you need to e-mail the seller before you bid. I'm thinking of placing the $9 bid just for giggles.

Hijacked account anyone?

Scam......no way.....it's as legit as the bridge I bought in Brooklyn, and once I once the post office finds the lost certificate of ownership that was mailed to me I will have proof.

My favorite quote from the listing, "only use is a ride around the block."

That scam is rampant. I see it all the time now, on any number of expensive bikes.

You just can't trust people on the intarweb anymore. What's the world coming to?

Interesting... the description states it has a full Chorus setup, yet the picture of the crank clearly says Record.

Listed in category: Collectibles > Advertising > Candy & Nuts > Cracker Jack

It's not a real bike, it's one you get in a Cracker Jack box!

Oh my, just this past week alone I reported three other auctions like this one. They all want you to email them outside of ebay first or will only accpet wire transfers. Do people actually fall for the wire transfer form of payment?

yesterday I saw a post of F4-13 in Craigslists but it was flagged down by users. Before it was taken down I asked the seller how much and he's asking 1500.00. I'm wondering if this is legit? Is there a way where I can find out why it was taken down?

Considering the retail price of the frame/fork/seatpost is $2900, I'm guessing it was either broken, stolen, or non-existent.
