Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

2006 Lemond Versailles frame weight

What do these frames weigh anyway? The Ox Platinum and carbon frames?

Likely someone will know better, but my estimation for a 55cm size, based on my frame and accounting for OX tubing and OCLV 120 would be approximately 1500 grams +/- 50 grams.

I understand that all the Carbon/steel frames are the same, and have the same weight. I don't know what that is, though.

Yeah, but what about the steel and carbon frames? (he did say Platinum OX) I'm curious - I would like to know what my frame weighs, and I just so happen to ride a 55 cm, too.

Did you read this post? check my first response.
And if you ride one, then strip it down and weigh it if a good estimate is not enough.
