Upcoming Bianchi San Lorenzo build
I've found a 2004 53 cm Bianchi San Lorenzo frame on Craigslist that I'm about to spring for. Does anyone have any opinions on this frame? Myself, it's always been a dream to own one.
Due to the fact that I don't have ready cash, it looks like my Bianchi Veloce is going to have to go.
I'm debating what to build it up with. My ideal option would be to sell the Bianchi Veloce frame and use the 9 speed Campy Veloce/Centaur components, and that's what I really want to do in order to save some cash. However, some I've talked to suggest I build it up with Dura-Ace or Ultegra - it'd be more expensive, but 'true' to the original bike and possibly perform better. Any suggestions?
Either way.. I'm going to use reverse psychology to NOT remind you that I DON'T have a seriously beautiful 55 cm Bianchi steel frame for sale (made in Italy)! Not asking very much, I'd love to clear it out ASAP. Craigslist does not wait for the slow. Link to the FS thread in my sig. If you're interested, do PM me today or ASAP..
Thanks!

Here's the San Lorenzo frame I'm looking at -
Not great quality, but tells me what I need to know. I'm really digging the horizontal top tube.

I hate to be the one to say this, but I don't think you'll ever get $850 for the complete bike. And you're probably not going to get much response here, either. I think your best bet would be to Ebay the frameset and move your components over. Good luck!

I forget you live in a bike-crazy town.. Around here it takes forever to sell something high-end.
P.S. thanks for dissing my 05 Veloce! now I'll never be able to sell it

Sorry bout that. I get to say it after riding a 2005 Bianchi steel frame for almost a year! Great ride - just a wee bit heavy.
