I'm getting ready to order mine. The shop has none in stock and I'm dying to see this bike. I rode the 1 & 3 but nobody had a 2 in stock. I'd love to see what the color looks like in a real photo.

    Thanks

I really enjoyed your website - I read all your rules and thought they all were awesome. I have a lot in common with you as far as the weight journey. I started at 265 in November again, and am now down 30lbs. I'm seeking 160 or so. Your rules are great and will help me stay with this.

    Thanks for posting your link!!

BTW, I enjoyed looking through your website, too....I'm a (former) Hoosier, myself. I went from 245 to 195 this past year, and am looking to get down to 175 this spring....and I've got an '05 OCR C2, so it's not the same color, but it's still an awesome bike.....

Here's my latest acquisition - my new commuter.....rigged up and ready to go...

You guys are getting me excited about getting this bike now. I'll be calling the LBS every day to see if it is here and if it is put together!!!

What size tires are you guys using? The 25mm tires seemed a little fat to me. My current bike has the old 27"X1" tires that seem really skinny. Can you put 23mm tires on these rims?

I'm using the stock 25mm's on the Giant. They're fine for me, since I'm not trying to win any races out there. I'm using 32mm slicks on the Kona - there's a downhill gravel section on my commute, and the Giant was too squirrelly going down hill - I didn't want to lose it in the loose gravel.

Here is my '06 OCR C2. This was last winter right after I got it. still very shiny and clean... This is with the SPD pedals that came with it. I later replaced them with Look Keo Sprints and logged over 1800 miles on the bike last year.

Hey kokomo - I really like the paint scheme on your '05!

We didn't get as much snow out here on the East coast (only about 2-4 or so, covered by a sheet of ice), but it's still a pain in the rear. In my home town (you can guess where), they got close to a foot of snow.

This morning, I did an hour on the trainer before the kids got up, so that was good. I put my Kona on to get used to is, and used that time to get familiar with the bike - saddle's about an inch too high, and I will likely get a shorter stem as a result....but I hate the snow - I'd rather be riding outside.

I'm a little late coming to this party but try to follow directions whenever I can. Here's the bike. Been riding it 15 months, remain quite happy.
