Best cycling product in the past year or so??

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My vote is for the Garmin Edge. There isn't really anything else like it.

The only other thing I can think of is the Specialized Toupe Saddle.

Whadddya you guyz think?

IMHO, last great (but not the greatest) bicycling product/innovation was STI. Nothing really new since then.

+2 for the Edge.

the Garmin makes it much easier to spot a Fred from distance. Sometimes the helmet mirrors get lost in the sun.

Probably still EPO, for 10 straight years.

I've also been enjoying my new lactate threshold -- great product -- I highly recommend it.

Everyone should buy one so that Garmin can rush out the next generation version with better battery life that doesn't shut itself off on bumpy roads. Then I can buy one too.

Ive had no issues with my Edge other than the last Training Center bungle by Garmin. Keep hating on it and I'll just keep enjoying mine.

If you avoid every product some ****** on BF writes a complaint about, you'll just end up with a pair of Mike Garcia wheels and Assos bibs.

3 of the 4 people I know who have the Garmin have had them shut off on bumpy roads. They otherwise like them.

Assos bibs don't fit me, so they're out. Re the Garcia wheels, could I have a bike with them or do I just have to push them around with a stick?

Powertap wireless SL. I don't have one... but still. I think SRAM Force is over a year old, correct?

+1 on the Toupe saddle. I have two of them.

I'm not ready for a Garmin Edge yet. How come I get this feeling if I had one for a week I'd be hooked? Looks pretty cool.
