Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Wheel upgrade

I'm looking for 2 different bikes;
- one comes with Fulcrum racing 7 and
- the other with Mavic Aksium (Mavic QR).

My LBS offer me to upgrate these wheel with Mavic Kysrium Elite for 400$ CAN.
Is it a good deal? Does it worth the upgrate? It there a better upgrade I could do?

Thanks

Look for a deal on the Fulcrum 5 Evolutions. Not sure what the current US to CAN conversion is, but I picked up a pair of 5 Evo's for $255 US delivered. Love the wheels.

343 bucks American to "upgrade" to kysrium If I really wanted to upgrade, I would by the Kysrium here-

https://www.lickbike.com/productpage.aspx?PART_NUM_SUB='5059-50'

and keep either the aksiums or fulcrums. It would cost you about the same in the end, but you would have a second wheel set for racing/training, or when you do not feel like fixing a flat.
