Who makes the lowest spoke count wheels for a roadie?
Maybe these take the cake?
Seriously... who makes 'em?

Mavic had an experimental zero-spoke wheel. The rim was made of iron and the hub had superconducting magnets that levitated the wheel around it. Only problem is the setup was 175lb per wheel and there was no way to pedal.

How about a set of Shimano Sweet 16 TANDEM wheels? I've completely rebuilt one and I've sweetened the tension on a pair for a different tandem team. So far as I know, all three wheels are still doing fine.

actually the rolf TT does actually come close, 10 front, 12 back, that's pretty slim for any manufacturer using standard type spokes
