Hi interceptor-
It would look good as long as there is another color to "accent" the modification. Maybe new bar tape, cable housing, or a new underseat bag for spare tubes.

Hi All-
Continental has a couple shades of yellow and orange from which to choose. From my experience, I can tell you that their top-of-the-line GP 4000 tires are simply awesome. The best clincher tires I've ever owned and virtually impervious to flats. I couldn't be happier.

Yellow tires start to look like crap in a hurry, unless you want to wash your tires regularly. Been there, done that, couldn't bring myself to wash the tires.

Whatever color you choose, you're going to have to do up the bar tape and saddle too, same color. As such, Yellow would be good, but Red would also be worth considering. It's not as radical as it sounds, really.

Not sure about the blue frame and yellow tires - I'm a little biased toward the black/yellow combo. BTW - I got tired of the look (installed last Aug) and these tires are just hanging in the garage. I'm going back to the black with white bar tape look on the Fuji.

Since my "Old Pegoretti" post was one with poor taste, I will say that the black frame with yellow tires, tape would of looked absolutely perfect with a yellow saddle.

You should ride what you want to ride.
Why does it matter what Joe Schmo on the opposite coast thinks?
I say go with the yellow, and if anyone rides up next to you and gives
you grief, then you simply - "Click Click" change up two gears and leave them in
your dust. Then they will wonder .... "Hmmmm, was it the tires???
Maybe that's what I need !"
