Orange County, CA Orthopedist/Cyclist?
I have been out of cycling since last November 15, when I broke my right femur in an accident at work. I have a titanium rod holding the femur together, and I am healing fine. My insurance company has informed me that I should look for a new orthopedist to replace the one who did my emergency surgery and has cared for me for the last 3months or so , and I have decided that I'll like one who is a cyclist. If I cannot find one who is a cyclist, I'll settle for one who is either an athlete or works extensively with athletes.
I thus need your recommendation as to those experienced orthopedists/athletes you know in Orange County, California who are very good at getting athletes back to as "good as new" after major injuries.
Please note that experience is important. I'll not consider newly-minted orthopedists under any circumstances.

Try posting this in the so Cal forum. I know of two people there who would have recommendations for you.
