Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

botto...you still headin' to my neck of the woods in the good ole' US of A this month?
I've got a bike waitin' for ya in the garage and a cold Gatorade in the cycling room on ice.
Unfortunately the trip has been postponed until July. Whether i make it that far North (it's now looking like a Mississippi/Missouri trip) is now debatable.

Do you actually have a 993, or just the diecast toys behind glass in your living room?

Actually, if you put the red in the back and the black up front, it'll alternate the colors on your rig and may look cool.

The black in back, red in front matches the frame. Perfect.

I just fooled with the seat again. I bumped it up a notch and settled down on the stationary trainer for about a half an hour.

After about 20 minutes my taint starts going numb.
I dunno... I think I'll lower it again and just suffer the criticism from Bonno.

The 2 red tires look good.
If you want 1 of each color I would definetely put the red one in the back.
Otherwise it looks like your bike is a build up of 2 different ones, half of a red one and half of a black one. What kind of glue did you use?

it is quite striking and breaks up the monotony of a paint scheme or simply adds to it.

i've always really loved that look.

i agree on matching front and rear.

Level the seat, and lower the seatpost slightly so that you retain the same seat height.

If you're still having issues (I'm surprised your arms/shoulders/hips/lower back aren't killing you) with numbness, try a new seat. Took me 4-5 different seats to find one I liked, which happens to be a Specialized Toupe.

I like the option using two red tires. It simply looks better. I like symetry.

For some reason, the two differant tires reminds me of laziness. As if you ruined one tire and replaced it, but were too lazy or too cheap to replace both.
