TIME RXS easy to clip into?
I'm looking into two pedals
TIME RXS Carbon
and
Speedplay (maybe light action/zero)
Are the RXS pedals easy to clip into? Speedplay is a high possiblility for me because i hear they are very easy to clip into (once broken in) and perform well (besides wearing cleats). I don't mind looking down at my pedals here n there for clipping in, but I'd like to know how the RXS's are. My current SPD-R are very hard to clip into so I guess both options improve my situation.

They work great! They were a little stiff the first couple of times I used them, but they're great now. I've had mine about 18 months. I use the RXS Carbon shoes with them, they're the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

I just put a set on my bike and they are a tad on the stiff side to clip in, but at least you can pedal without being clipped in. I came from Looks and it was either get clipped in or say hello to slippage of the foot. The Time has the pontoons to kind of hold the pedal in place until you get it to clip in. Overall I'm happy with them and I'm sure the clipping will improve as the break in. Reminds me of my Time ATAC mountain pedals which took a bit to break in, but after that they worked flawlessly...

I have the RXE's and they are fine to clip into. Plus they have the benefit of a useable surface area for riding without cycling shoes, which is consideration since I ride around my college campus. Just something to keep in mind...

I have an '05 set of RXS Carbons that are difficult to clip into. My '06 set of the same is much easier. Still a little on the stiff side, but on par with other road pedals I've used. Their performance once in makes 'em worth any hassles.

What I like, they are comfy and easy to get in (for me, but I know some who had a hard time).
What I don't like, cleats are darn expensive.
