Attention New England/Boston riders!
Two things...
We're just a few short weeks from the Boston Beanpot Cycling Classic!! If you've never experienced the Tufts' criterium course, you should come out to Summerville, MA on April 1 for the cat 3/4 race (mens and womens). As one of the (volunteer) organizers of the event, this year's Beanpot is going to blow the previous ones out of the water. Just look at those sexy winners' jerseys (I wonder who designed those...) Here's the BikeReg page, and here's the race flyer, with more information
Whether you decide to race the crit or just love cycling, if you're in the Boston/Worcester area on Saturday 3/31, and would like to volunteer to help marshall the road race in Grafton, we'd love some more help. Shoot me an PM or email (kalafarc@bc.edu) if you can to help us out. It's a super easy job, and nice free lunches will be provided for volunteers.

I'm sure it will be great in all the snow, melting snow, and yes be prepared, because tomorrow road crews will use every last drop of salt and sand they have piled up from a winter with barely any snow. It will be like driving on the beach Saturday.

we've got two weeks, and tomorrow WILL be the last snow of the season... As far as sand we have a street sweaper go over it the night before, and then hand sweep the whole course that morning.

Excellent, you got a street sweeper. Very important for crits this time of year.
