I can see through your shorts!

As I held up a pair of shorts to apply some assos cream, I could practically see the flesh color of my fingers. Up against the light you can practically see through them. Opaque they are not. Of course, when we wear cycling shorts, we realize that an outline of [insert gender specific organ here] is visible, but maybe in some light, your actual parts are on display I keep my jersey pulled low when off the bike. Just one of those things I suppose.

    What say you?

ps- Just picked up my first set of bibs. Except for the nip chafing (PI ultrasensor), I'm all for them and I think they are slimming
That's why you always try to find a hottie to ride behind.

i've noticed this a couple of times. descente aero-x shorts seem to have this problem where when you're behind someone in a race, you've got some guys' ass crack staring you down. i would never have realized that i kept drafting the same guy if not for his funny shorts. every lap, i was like "you again?"
there was one wet race where some guy on the dewalt squad had a see-thru issue with the white panel on the back of his shorts, but thankfully it was covered over by the crud spraying off his rear wheel.

    disturbing.

I've never noticed it on guy's shorts BECAUSE I DON'T LOOK THERE.
And if I do look there, I still don't say anything.

And I've never said anything about it to a woman, BECAUSE WHY WOULD I?

But yeah, you can read the Wall Street Journal through the plumber's crack area. That's the first place they wear out.

this is when it really sucks being a slow fat bastard.

The only people I spend any real time behind... well, I've learned to ride with my head to the side a little and one eye closed. Kind of like driving late at night when the truck coming at you leaves his high beams on.
Inside me is a thin man dying to get out.

Yeah...I agree. I try not to look. But my modesty prompted me to post this thread. I don't like being on display as I walk out my door of building.

I agree regarding the other posters comment about white shorts and/or reading the WSJ. I suppose it is one way to keep wheel suckers off your back.

My bibs are white.. Looking forward to the next race, I'm sure it'll psyche all of the other racers out . Once they'll see my legs, they'll mistake me for being Boonen, and turn in fear of me crushing their souls eternally.

I would never read the WSJ through that area. Why would I? Maybe the NYT.

I was riding behind a buddy up bit of a hill, I pulled up beside him and said "I am never going to ride behind you again unless he buy's a new pair of shorts" then I kept on going past!

The view was not very nice, his wife went and got him a new pair of shorts before the next ride, but that comment travelled around our circle of friends pretty quickly and alway's seems to come out again when we are out somewhere together.

This thread is why I always were baggy mtb shorts from PI. I have the mortal fear of this thread alone also I feel like I would be on display with spandex I do not know how some people do it
The Ferrari ('05 Bianchi Forza) had a flat (Stupid Glass) the Japanese wagon ('77 Nishiki with Arkel Utility Basket) was in the body shop (On my bench being repainted...repent ye rust)
so I took the SUV ( Cannondale V2000 Active 100SL)

you should wear those for the next race and show them what aero tuck really means
Irregardless is not a word, and you do not sound more intelligent using it.

It appears you have done quite a bit of research in the field. Oh, and if it is indeed a problem, flip it. Lol
